Very nice family staff, very helpful. If you primarily speak English, you might have some difficulty, but overall it was a great experience. They do not take Visa cards, so pay cash or with a local bank card.
The place is very Good, very relaxing !! The Owner Frau.Carla and her two children Anna & son Timo is perfect in English and are a perfect Team and Great Host !! Frau.Carla makes wonderful pizza! Highly recommended if you want valve for money homely atmosphere and personalised service !!
The first impression, an aging pension right on the railroad tracks (freight trains run almost every minute over the duvet at night) we (5 people) were the only guests. At first the landlady was very friendly. On departure we should pay additional cleaning costs for carpet stains in one of the rooms. Since we were not ready (as I said: old, very renovation-in need of a pension) was nothing from the friendly landlady. The last impression is the lasting one, they say in gastronomy, so unfortunately not recommended! What a shame!!
Very good food and friendly service.
Although we were only with you for 2 nights, we really liked it. The room was bigger than expected, everything was very clean and the breakfast for and just right. Anyone who is bothered by the railway line should read better 😉 We would love to come back
Pizza was not as hot as we ordered, but still very good. Enjoyed the evening in the garden despite passing trains and thought it was funny when everything was wobbly. Very good service
Unfriendly, clean looks different
Excellent pizza and service.
Unacceptable behavior of the staff with the kids. Not recommended at all
Very bad service
Very bad behavior with children. Beer is scrap.
Something Hidden, ambiente okay
We thought it was very good, room was clean, a bit small but still comfortable, food great the pizza the absolute best, the wine delicious. The chief very dear. we have filled well. Breakfast was all there and wishes were also felt. Only we had chosen the wrong time, the winter, but we will be back in the summer and then make ourselves comfortable in the garden, certainly. Greetings Grazyna and Martin Schultz
Very basic hotel integrated in a pizzeria!
The host Carla and her family have always tried to look after us. We felt very comfortable and ate really well in the restaurant (home-made dishes). Thumbs up and keep it up :) The rooms are functional and clean. We slept well despite rail traffic. In this sense, greetings to Assmannshausen. J. Stark from Stuttgart
Good pizza in the restaurant at fair prices, friendly and very helpful staff!
Very poor reception, communication from my cardigan, hotel makes empty promises and then I hold back. We turned around and went to sleep somewhere else. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very friendly hostess beautiful garden and delicious food the rooms individually designed friendly. A return to definitely recommend.
It was not visible from the outside, if at all is open! When we discovered the open door and entered the rather dark pizzeria, we first looked for staff, that was not to be seen! We combed the rooms until we entered the beer garden. A woman greeted us sitting at the table with a couple. When we were shown to a table, we first knew it was a co-worker. It was weird, that at lunchtime, with us only 4 guests were present! Anyway, we had after our trip ... hungry (unfortunately our favorite Italian had rest day). After the pizza oven was not in operation (otherwise would have taken 45 minutes) was, I have also opted for spaghetti aglio e olio. Two small portions (€ 7.90 per serving), arrived after about 30 minutes on our table. We wondered about the tomato pieces (not common) in the dish, to the first try also that the spaghetti was cooked too hard (al dente), too little olive oil (which makes up the dish) and overall path tasted !!! Asked why tomato pieces are in the dish, we were told: they cook in Napoli, add more sauce and are not as greasy as olive oil !! Never again...
Best pizza😍best service🍽🍻alles is super good
Very nice area! ☺
I absolutely recommend this place. Have only in the garden area a "twilight" made, then absolutely typical Italian eaten. Best pizza I have ever eaten. The pasta dishes were absolutely top and fresh. After the meal we were invited to a nightcap by the boss. Mille grazie for the nice evening with you!
This was our worst restaurant experience in years and this in all points (ascending from "not particularly good" to "absolutely miserable"): Location of the beer garden: right next to the railway line. Trains run about every seven minutes, distance to the beer garden about two meters, entertainment is impossible when the train is passing, hopefully there will never be a disaster) Pizza (with Parma ham and rocket, this was especially recommended): If I had had a piece of cardboard with me, I would have been able to eat from both alternately, the difference would hardly have been noticeable, at the high price of 10.50 EUR Lasagne: Mediocre in taste Wine: We asked for the well-known Assmannshausen red wine, what was served to us as such was more in the range of a cheap table wine and this at a price of 4.20 EUR for 0.1 liter. The drinks menu is structured in such a way that the quantity specified for the wine described below (here 0.2 liters) is incorrectly assigned to the Assmannshausen wine. So you don't get 0.2 liters for 4.20 EUR but only half. This is an extremely heavy price and, as I said, for a wine that is by no means special. The service: We should have left after the first contact with the aggressively serving lady, but unfortunately we didn't. Pointing out that the wine was not tasty, she rather angrily brought the bottle from which the wine supposedly came from. When asked why the glasses only contained 0.1 and not 0.2 liters, she explained the drinks menu in an extremely unfriendly way and added that in Germany you had to be able to read. She gave no apology for the poorly designed wine list. Conclusion: If you come to Assmannshausen, you should definitely avoid this restaurant, there are many others and they can only be better.
Wonderful stay at Monte Somma. I truly enjoyed my visit to Assmannshausen. Carla is a magnificent hostess, helpful in all matters. I look forward to returning soon.
It's open again. The food is great is always freshly cooked and the pizza is delicious, you can tell that it is fresh. Beer garden is just too great, it is a green oasis and the children also have a small playground.
